Nihon Falcom released a brand new batch of screenshots of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, that is going to be released in Japan on July 21st for PS Vita and in 2017 for PS4.

We meet the blacksmith Katrin, that can create weapons and armor, and Aaron, another of the shipwrecked villagers of the Drifting Village.

In the village itself we’ll be able to activate Cathleen’s blacksmith workshop where it’s possible to strengthen weapons and armor and even combine them to create new ones. On the other hand, Aaron’s shop will handle the creation of accessories and the dismantling of items for materials.

It’ll also be possible to find landmarks on the island, uncovering areas of the map to facilitate exploration.
