Today's issue of Weekly Famitsu included a batch of screenshots of Musou Stars, revealing a few new playable characters that will appear in Koei Tecmo's upcoming all-stars game.

Looks like two ladies from Nights of Azure are making the cut, with Arnice and Christophorus. From Dead or Alive Ayane joins Kasumi, Honoka and Marie Rose, while Tokitsugu appears from Toukiden 2.

Incidentally, looks like Arnice retains her ability to change form, even if we don't know whether all of her transformations will be available in the game or not.

We also get a look at hero cards, that can be used to empower our characters in different ways, for instance by adding elements to attacks. In the Sanctuary there is also a facility that lets you spend money and materials to upgrade your cards with new attributes.

You can sell cards for money, or disassemble them for materials. You can even create new cards.

When you meet a character, there will be conversation options, and the friendship between those characters will improve or worsen depending on the answer you select. Relationships between characters can be checked in a dedicated menu, in order to organize your teams for battle.

We also see some more of the facilities of the sanctuary, including the headquarters, the bar, the dormitory, the bathouse, and the training grounds.

You can check out all the screenshots below, keeping in mind that they're from magazine scans, so the quality isn't the best compared to direct feed screenshots.

Musou Stars still doesn't have a western release date, and it has just been delayed to March 30th in Japan. The official reasoning behind this decision is the usual that gets mentioned every time a Koei Tecmo game gets (almost) inevitably delayed, and it's to "further improve quality."

You can find several trailers introducing various characters here, here, here and here. Another trailer and a few screenshots can also be enjoyed here.
