PS4/PS3 Exclusive JRPG Persona 5 Gets Fantastic New Trailer, Box Art and Collector’s Edition

on May 5, 2016 9:11 AM

During a livestream on Nico Nico, Atlus showcased a brand new trailer of Persona 5, which you can see at the bottom of the post.

Interestingly, the trailer also showcases new female party members, about which we’ll probably hear more soon.

On top of that, they also released a new trailer announcing a September 15th Japanese release date, the box art, and images of several DLC sets, culminating with a 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.

The game will cost 8,800 yen plus taxes in its standard edition, while the rich Collector’s Edition will cost 13,800 yen. Both will be available for pre-order in Japan starting tomorrow, May 6th.

The Collector’s Edition will include the game in a special box, an art book, DLC sets with special skins for our personas and for the protagonists on top of battle music from Persona 3 and Persona 4, a custom theme, and sound track CDs for all five games of the series.

A dedicated anime series will also air in Japan in September. Yet, without further ado, I leave you with the trailer and images including the box art, the Collector’s Edition and its goodies.
