Atlus released a brand new trailer and a TV commercial of its upcoming JRPG for PS4 and PS3 Persona 5, that will be released on September 15th in Japan and on February 14th 2017 in the west for PS4 and PS3.
This time around this isn’t a recording from a shabby Nico Nico livestream, so the quality is what you’d expect from direct feed footage.
The trailer shows a rather surprising feature (which I won’t spoil) and even a tiny bit of fanservice for those who love Anne. It also showcases Memento dungeons, which are randomly generated dungeons that will offer infinite gameplay.
After the TV commercial and trailer, Atlus also published the full opening animation and an interview with the staff behind the game, which shows gameplay here and there.
On top of the game-related videos, we also get the announcement of the upcoming anime series, which will start airing in Japan on September 3rd and will be titled Persona 5 The Animation: The Daybreakers. You can see the trailer at the bottom of the post.
And that’s not all: a web manga will be released on September 15th, while a concert showcasing the game’s soundtrack will be held on November 27th in Tokyo.
Last, but not least, a Persona 5 launch event will be held at Tokyo Game Show on September 15th. The game will also be playable in several locations across Japan between July 31st and August 27th.
