PS4/PS3 Exclusive Star Ocean 5’s PS4 Gameplay Shows Battles, Characters and Seamless Dialogue

Star Ocean is coming back with Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness, and it’s putting a foot into the current generation with a PS4 release (while it keeps one in the old with a SKU for PS3), but how does the game play?

Below you can check it out, courtesy of a livestream by Dengeki PlayStation.

Having tried the game myself (and soon you’ll be able to read my preview), the battle system is really lovely, a mix of new-ish action and old JRPG menu-handling.

The seamless conversations work well in not intrrupting the flow of gameplay too much, even if the forced walking and reddish barsĀ could be tweaked for the better, yet.

As usual, remember that this is from a Nico Nico livestream, so the quality could definitely be bettwe.
