Today Square Enix released a large batch of new screenshots of Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy’s End, that is releasing in Japan on May 27th for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

This time around we get to take a look at one of the new features of the game. The player can summon certain monsters to fight together with him as support, or can even transform into some. Other monsters, on the other hand, help by making certain spells more effective.

It’s also possible to gain mastery of a job by completing a dedicated quest after leveling it up to a certain point. When that happens, new skills become available.

Last, but certainly not least, we get to see some more returning playable characters: Alena, Maya and Kiryl from Dragon Quest IV, Terry from Dragon Quest VI and Jessica from Dragon Quest VIII.
