The trailer of the JRPG for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita by Kadokawa Games Natural Doctrine showcased during the SCEJA Press Conference on Monday didn't really tell us much about the game itself, but today we finally get the first details via press release.

The game is defined as a "Simulation RPG" with a grand story set in a world of sword and sorcery where the populace is exposed to the threat of other races and sub-human races. The main character and his companions are sent outside a walled city to escort a mining development team, but their fate awaits just outside as the world around them will change dramatically by the doctrine of mother nature.

It's the first work of the "Kadokawa Game Studio", a team just established with the best from Kadokawa Games. The executive producer is Kadokawa Games' own president Yoshimi Yasuda (that also produced Killer is Dead), and the game's release date in Japan is the same as the PS4, February the 22nd. It will feature cross play between its three platforms.

Below we see the same trailer showcased at the SCEJA Press Conference, the first few screenshots and a piece of characrer artwork showcasing one of the heroines named Vasily, a female fighter that acts as a tank with shield and sword.

The teaser website for Natural Doctrine has also been opened, and can be found here.
