Kadokawa Games announced that the the strategy JRPG for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita Natural Doctrine has overtaken the not exactly lofty goal of 50,000 copies sold in Japan.

In order to celebrate the achievement, the publisher issued a discount campaign for the downloadable PS4 version, which will drop by 1,000 yen (from 6,800 to 5,800) from July 10th to August 27th. The PS4 port will also receive a free DLC mission on july 10th, featuring an extremely difficult boss.

Unfortunately the game wasn't received very well in Japan especially due to a number of glitches and launch problems, but we'll be able to experience it for ourselves in North America on September 16th and in Europe on the 19th.
