The PS4 framework has been slowly and steadily worked upon by Sony since the console's launch in November, and some new updates are heading to the PS4 and luckily are available now.

Updates 1.61 and 1.60 are a pair of new console patches released for the PS4 that mainly provide some bug fixes and system stability tweaks, but will also add some new features including support for wireless stereo headsets (models CECHYA-0080 / CECHYA-0083 / CECHYA-0086) and a wired headset (CECHYA-0088), a mute function for the PlayStation Camera, and improved playback quality for DVDs.

The new updates for the console are available to download now, with full patch/update notes available here from Sony.
