Earlier today, Project CARS' twitter account posted that the game is now available on PlayStation Plus League, which hinted at an upcoming PS4 eSports platform, and it appears to be true.

It wasn't long before IGN was able to spot the official PlayStation Plus League's website. The website states that there will be qualifying matches held during Paris Games Week, with a cash prize of 20 thousand Euros.

The PS4's eSports platform supports nine games for now, and they are: Battlefield Hardline, Rocket League, Ultra Street Fighter IV, FIFA 16, Project Cars, DriveClub, Mortal Kombat X, Trials Fusion, and PES 2016. Here is PlayStation Plus League's description:

  • Throughout the year,  many Championships on the main PS4 games.
  • Several seasons to renew the pleasure of playing and regularly try to defend your title...
  • Divisions to find opponents to your own level.
  • Finales online and offline to become the true champion of the PlayStation Plus League!

Most tournaments start on November 2, so start practicing and don't get mad if I snatch a win or two from you in FIFA 16.
