With the PS5 drawing closer and anticipation for the new console getting higher, Sony's next-gen system is on the top of mind for a lot of gamers at the moment. While we're still waiting for word on what the system will actually cost and when it will release, you can ease some of the time waiting by getting a nifty AirPods case that resembles the DualSense controller.

This stylish AirPods case (via ProtoCart) takes the PS5's DualSense controller and minimizes it to act as a handy AirPods case. Though I doubt the case will have the DualSense's capabilities such as adaptive triggers and motion sensing, it's the next-best thing if you're waiting to hear more on the PS5 or want some neat Sony-related paraphernalia before the console arrives. You can pick up the case from ProtoCart normally for $49.95, though at the moment they are on sale for $19.95 (USD).

In terms of PS5 news, we're still waiting to hear on the system's official release date and pricepoints for both the Digital Edition and the version with a disc drive. The most likely scenario is that the system would arrive sometime in November, given that several upcoming next-gen launch games are targeting a mid-November release, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold WarAssassin's Creed Valhalla, and more. Microsoft's Xbox Series X is also planning to debut sometime in November, so it's likely we'll see both systems launch in the same month.

The PS5 is officially set to release sometime in holiday 2020. For more info on the system as it develops, keep an eye on DualShockers' coverage right here.
