Marvel’s Spider-Man PS5 Remaster Will be Shown Publicly Before Release
Marvel's Spider-Man for PS5 is planned to be highlighted by Insomniac Games prior to its arrival alongside Miles Morales in November.
Update: Well, they made good on this promise far sooner than we expected. You can see more of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered in action right here.
It’s strange to even have to wonder whether or not we’d see the PS5 remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man in action before its release in November alongside Miles Morales, but given that we’re only about one month away from launch, many have been asking that exact question. Fortunately, developer Insomniac Games has now set aside any concerns that folks might be having.
Recently on Twitter, one user asked the official Insomniac Games account whether or not the studio would show off the PS5 remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man prior to launch. With a simple response of “yes”, Insomniac confirmed that it does indeed plan to show off the remaster publicly before launch. As for when that showing might take place we currently do not know, but considering how close we are to its arrival, you’d have to imagine it will be relatively soon.

Again, it’s strange that many started asking this question in the first place, but given that everything else surrounding the PS5 remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man has been so bizarre, it’s hard to blame fans. In recent weeks, Insomniac Games and PlayStation have confirmed that this remaster won’t be released as a separate product and that saves won’t be able to transfer from the PS4 iteration. Basically, if you want to pick this game up, the only way you’ll be able to do so is by also acquiring Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It has been a pretty odd re-release to be certain.
Regardless, let’s hope that the remaster will receive a sizable boost as it transitions to the next-gen PlayStation platform. Marvel’s Spider-Man will be released alongside Miles Morales and the PS5 on November 12.
