PS5: The Future of Gaming - Watch Sony's PS5 Reveal Livestream Right Here

The time has come: watch Sony's big reveal event for the PS5 right here to take a look at upcoming next-gen games and more.

June 11, 2020

At long last, the moment is about to happen: Sony is pulling back the curtain on the PS5 with its Future of Gaming livestream. While we’ve gotten small bits and pieces of info about Sony’s next-gen system (such as backwards compatibility and the DualSense controller), today marks the big event where we’ll finally get to know more about the PS5 first-hand.

While we don’t know for sure just yet what will be announced, we can at least assume that we’ll get some reveals of upcoming first-party PS5 titles (alongside third-party announcements), and hopefully get a look at what the final design of the console will look like. This might also be the time we learn when the console will launch and the price, but it also seems like a distinct possibility that we’ll learn that information at a later time.

If you’re looking to tune in and watch the livestream when it kicks off at 1pm PT/4pm ET, you can find the official stream from Sony below for the PS5 reveal event:

Ahead of the event today, our managing editor Logan Moore shared his thoughts on some of the most obvious predictions that we might expect from the PS5 reveal event. Our predictions included a Horizon sequel, a new Ratchet & Clank entry, a remake of Demon’s Souls/remaster of Bloodborne, and the reveal of Resident Evil 8. Obviously all of those assumptions are up in the air, but hopefully we’ll know soon enough whether we were right or completely missed the mark on our PS5 predictions.

Sony’s PS5: The Future of Gaming reveal event will officially kick off today (Thursday, June 11) at 1pm PT/4pm ET: you can check out the official livestream up above, and stay tuned for a watchalong livestream with the DualShockers staff right as the event is airing.
