Almost an hour earlier, Sony shared a brand new gameplay trailer from Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, with the full version going live soon at PS5 State of Play April 2021.

It's been a while since the last State of Play from Sony where the company delivers the latest news and trailers from the upcoming titles.

Today, the official Twitter account of PlayStation shared a brand new gameplay trailer from Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, focusing on Rivet, the female Lombax and playable character that was teased in the previous trailer of the game.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart New Gameplay Trailer

As one of the very first games that were announced for PS5, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart already has a huge fan base that wants to know more about the game.

While the only thing new we are given now is a new gameplay trailer, more will be shared about the game later this week in a full presentation. Below, you can check out the new gameplay trailer, featuring some new characters.

As the trailer reveals, Nefarious is the reason behind the multiple dimensional travels of Ratchet and Clank. However, when they are being transferred into a new dimension, each one of the land in a different part of the new dimension. This leads to the acquaintance of Rivet, the female playable character, and Clank, who start a new journey with each other looking for Ratchet.

Moreover, Sony also revealed the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game that includes some fancy in-game skins for the playable characters.

When Is the PS5 State of Play April 2021 Stream Time?

Announced along with the trailer above, Sony will hold a brand new State of Play this week on April 29. The show is set to go live at 5 pm EST.

A 15-minute gameplay walkthrough will be shared from Rift Apart during this episode of State of Play.

Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will be available on June 11 only on PS5.
