We're now almost five months removed from the launch of Sony's latest console, the PS5, and the stock issues aren't showing any signs of easing up in the near future.

There are a select few who get a tip-off from an employee or Twitter, or an email from a company and manage to snag one of the elusive consoles, but for most - anguish.

Thankfully, we received an email with some news on a PS5 stock update direct from an online retailer. Here are those details, plus a roundup of our findings on other stock updates.

Who is the retailer?

UK based online retailer Gamebyte are the ones who will be able to offer PS5's to a lucky few buyers. Unfortunately, they don't ship internationally so the consoles will go directly to UK customers.

What is the PS5 stock update details?

There's good news, very good news and bad news. The good news is they are getting PS5's in stock. The very good news? They're getting both the digital and disk-based versions in stock. The bad news, though, as expected there is a "limited stock". The email also states "bundles", so it's unlikely they will be purchasable without some kind of extra games or accessories.

Thankfully, however, Gamebyte is fighting back against the scalpers who have played a big part in the PS5 stock issues. They say:

"We're not fans of genuine gamers missing out, so as a way for us to combat bots/scalpers we'll be limiting the bundles to one per-person."

Gamebyte haven't given a date for the restock yet, but it'd be wise to check back on a regular basis. The full email is below:

What other retailers are restocking PS5's soon?

In the US, according to TechRadar, Target will be having a PS5 Restock tomorrow morning (March 11). This seems to be the only report that has any legs for now.

Meanwhile, in the UK, retailer Game will be selling the consoles from March 26th says Birmingham Live. Other than that, reports are sketchy.
