Today, the first PS5 TV spot has been officially revealed on YouTube along with the marketing slogan, "Play Has No Limits." The TV spot is also accompanied with an official blog post from Mary Yee, Sony Interactive Entertainment's vice president.

The advert has a strong focus on the main selling points for the PS5 peripherals. The first touches on feeling, a reference to the DualSense controller. The second sound, which is a reference to the Tempest 3D AudioTech, and the third mentions force at your fingertips, no doubt a reference to the adaptive triggers.  The video comes to an end with "Welcome to a new world of immersion as the camera zooms out from the DualSense controller to a shot of both the controller and console.

"Today, I am pleased to share with you our first global spot for PlayStation that showcases some of the immersive gameplay you will experience on the new PS5 console." Mary Yee says in the blog post, She explains the story being told through the marketing, "you’ll see the new console’s features come to life through a young woman’s eyes and her movements."

The trailer bears graphical similarities to the Unreal Engine 5 demo we saw back in May. It is however stated at the start of the trailer that the footage shown in the above video is just a dramatization. So while it's not official gameplay, which is understandable, I think it does a fantastic job in capturing the features of the upcoming PS5 features that are due to arrive when then console launches sometime this year during Holiday 2020.
