Below you will find the official patch notes for the PS5 update released on April 27. These notes were taken from our own PlayStation 5 Console prior to installing the update. It's currently unclear if Sony will release further notes regarding the update, but if they do we'll make sure to update this article.
It looks like the update was solely to improve the performance of the PlayStation 5 System, so don't expect any new features this time around.

The download size for the latest PlayStation 5 Update on April 27 comes in at 902.3MB.
Your PlayStation 5 console should automatically begin downloading the new System Software Update when you next boot it up. After the update is downloaded you'll need to install it and let the console reboot itself once completed.
