Believe it or not, Psychonauts 2 is finally slated to release later this year. While we still haven't seen much of the game in action, that will be changing next month. As revealed this afternoon, a new demo for Double Fine's Psychonauts 2 is slated to take place next month at E3 Coliseum. Assuming that we don't see anything of the game until this point, this will be one of the first instances in which we've seen Psychonauts 2 being played for an extended stretch of time outside of the developer update videos that have periodically been released. Not only will Psychonauts 2 make an appearance at this panel, but some famous faces associated with Double Fine will also be dropping by. For starters, studio head Tim Schafer will be in attendance alongside actor and YouTube phenomenon Jack Black, who in the past has worked with Double Fine on Brutal Legend. Further details on what Schafer and Black will be doing during the panel hasn't been given, but you can be certain that it'll likely be a fun panel to watch.Personally, I'm extremely excited for Psychonauts 2 and I cannot wait to see more of the game. I've been waiting for this sequel for what seems to be forever at this point and its release can't come soon enough. Hopefully, we finally get the announcement of a firm release date for the title as well next month.Until then, all we know is that Psychonauts 2 is slated to release before the end of 2019 on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
