Yesterday, Chinese publisher Tencent released its first (cinematic) trailer for the mobile port of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

The two-minute-long trailer offers various snippets of gameplay and combat. However, one of the most significant things avid players will notice in the trailer is how massive ship battles were present in the game. On top of that several clips showed helicopters equipped with missile launchers. While the trailer was indeed impressive, the real question is whether or not any of these features will be available on the PC and Xbox One versions as well.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is an online battle royale game developed and published by PUBG Corp., a subsidiary of Bluehole Studios with Tencent winning publishing rights for the Chinese version.

Currently, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available as an Early Access title on Steam. However, a full release is anticipated later this year. An Xbox One version is coming on December 12 via Microsoft’s Xbox Game Preview Program. Unfortunately, a release window for the mobile version has yet to be released. Tencent has confirmed that the development of the title is going "smoothly” and will be available for Android and iOS devices.
