Since it debuted early last year, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has spun into a worldwide phenomenon as it launched out of Early Access on PC and arrived on Xbox One and mobile soon after, and now its creators are looking back on the game's success one year later.

Developer PUBG Corps has released a new Thank You video from the game's development team in celebration of the one year anniversary of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds' debut on Early Access last year.

Specifically in the video, creator Brendan Greene (aka "PlayerUnknown") and PUBG Corps CEO and Executive Producer C.H. Kim addressed fans that have supported PUBG and helped make the game into the global success that it has been, and looked back at the feedback that have helped make the game better.

In addition to Greene and Kim's statements, the video also includes a first look at the next map that will be coming to PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which will be a 4x4 map (much smaller than the two maps currently available in the game) that will emphasis much more close-quarters combat in PUBG, and will feature a tropical aesthetic modeled after Southeast Asia. The map itself will be available for public testing sometime in early April.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is available now on Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android. For a closer look at the game's accomplishments in its first year and the upcoming new map, you can watch the new video from PUBG Corps below:
