PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds for the Xbox One may have numerous flaws. Nevertheless, the game has still proven to be wildly popular with fans, even reaching one million players within the first 48 hours of its official launch. Today, the developer has dropped a new update to the game, which makes Squads mode more accessible to players.

According to the developer, this new patch will allow gamers the option to have one, two, or three-man squads created without the need for matchmaking with other players. Despite some might think this patch is rather mundane, it's just another example of how PUBG Corp. is always hard at work on ensuring that players are enjoying both versions of the game as much as possible.

That being said, one of the biggest complaints still plaguing the title is the game crashing. However, this patch also promises "continued performance optimizations" as well as "a variety of crash fixes" to ensure a more stable version of the game. It is also worth noting that this patch reduces recoil across all weapons on the Xbox One version only.
