PUBG Adds Nifty New Snowbikes to its Vikendi Map
Zip through the snow as PlayerUnkown's Battlegrounds replaces the traditional motorbike with a new snowbike on the Vikendi map.
Dashing through the snow can be a somewhat difficult task in the world of video games. Between sliding aimlessly on ice or wading slowly, knee deep in snow, it can often make things feel a little frustrating. Luckily, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has you covered.
The recently released Vikendi map sees the battle royale title’s combat taking place across snowy terrain. It’s a wide-open winter wonderland for players to fight tooth and nail for a taste of that delicious chicken dinner. To ensure the battlefield is a fair and fun place to play, a number of changes are currently underway, including the addition of snowbikes.
Unlike the motorbike, the snowbike is built with Vikendi’s landscape in mind. It’s a more mobile vehicle on snowy terrain, giving drivers that well-needed edge. However, the downside is that the snowbike cannot take as much damage as its wheeled counterpart meaning it’s a case of high risk, high reward for drivers and passengers alike.
The snowbike is available now on test servers for PC players. It also replaces the traditional motorbike which will no longer spawn on the Vikendi map.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC and Xbox One, as well as mobile devices iOS and Android. The hugely popular battle royale title is also available now on PlayStation 4.
