When it was announced the Antonio Banderas-voiced Puss In Boots would get his own spinoff movie, I'm sure many of you prayed Fruit Ninja developer Halfbrick Studios would seek a licensing deal for a tie-in game. Looks like they heard you.

The title says it all. Fruit Ninja: Puss In Boots features unlockable weapons and Spanish backgrounds reminiscent of the popular Shrek character. Two new modes, Desperado and Bandito, are also introduced in the title. Desperado mode introduces magic beans into the classic Fruit Ninja formula and Bandito Mode is a four-tiered challenged mode with gradually increasing difficulties.

The iOS title is available from the app store for 99 cents on iPhone, $1.99 on the iPad.
