Puyo Puyo Tetris Is Coming to Steam Later This Month

Sonic Team's fun, competitive, and fast-paced puzzle game Puyo Puyo Tetris is coming to PC via Steam at the end of this month, according to its publisher.

After teasing the announcement yesterday, Sega officially announced today that Puyo Puyo Tetris would be coming to PC via Steam at the end of this month, according to the press release sent this morning.

Initially released on in Japan on February 6, 2014, for 3DS, Wii-U, PlayStation Vitam and PlayStation 3, Puyo Puyo Tetris is a puzzle game, which crosses over the Tetris series and the Puyo Puyo franchise. Since its original launch, the game has been ported over to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, so it was only a matter of time until PC owners would get their hands on this game.

The publisher also confirmed that gamers who pre-order Puyo Puyo Tetris on Steam or through other SEGA approved digital retailers before the game officially launches would receive exclusive wallpapers and avatars, which feature your favorite Puyo Puyo and Tetris characters. Additionally, those who pre-order the game through Steam will receive an additional 10% discount.

In addition to receiving the base game, the PC version of Puyo Puyo Tetris will also include enhanced features; this includes scalable resolutions, fully customizable controls, and mouse-friendly menus. On top of that, as bonus gamers who own the PC version will have the option to play the game using the original Japanese voiceovers.
