In two days, MMORPG MapleStory finally receives the update it needed for ages -- the inclusion of player-vs-player (PVP). After 6 years of being available as a free game, players can finally face off against each other to see who truly is better. Before this update, players would compete by out damaging each other, or, even worse, kill steal each other. It was lame and boring, but now all of that is over. Come July 20, 2011, PVP is here, and you better be able to put up or shut up.

Here is the PVP detailed:

• Fight fellow Maplers in Battle Mode to earn EXP, Battle Points, and bragging rights!
• Trade in Battle Points for Gallant Emblems which can be exchanged for Battle Mode items - just like Monster Carnival!
• Enter combat in the new zone Battle Square featuring unique fighting maps.
