Back in August of 2017, Toxic Games revealed that its game Q.U.B.E. 2 would be released sometime in 2018, but at the time, we didn't know a more exact release date. Well, that has all changed as the developer has officially announced that the first-person puzzle title will be available in a little over a month, on March 13, 2018.

While speaking about the current state of the game, Dan Da Rocha, Managing Director at Toxic Games, had this to say:

“We’re very proud of how Q.U.B.E. 2 has shaped up - no pun intended - after nearly five years of development. When we made the first Q.U.B.E. we were still students, but after a half decade of real industry experience we’ve put together the kind of premium product we’ve always dreamed of. We hope you have as much fun playing it as we did making it.”

For those that don't know, in Q.U.B.E. players take control of Amelia Cross and archeologist who has woken up in a world that is not her own. During the course of the game, players will be able to control and change the environment around them in order to make it through sections. The game features 11 chapters and over 80 different puzzles.

The original title, Q.U.B.E., was first released in 2011, however, a Director's Cut of the game was released on PC in 2014, with the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U versions coming a year later. That edition added a narrative to the game, something that the original version did not include.

Q.U.B.E. 2 is set to be released only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
