In a new tweet from Quantic Dream's David Cage, he teases surprises coming from the studio this year.

"2020 should be even more excting," says Cage. We have a lot of surprises to come for our fans, so stay tuned! And in 2020 more than ever: be deviant!"

While it's unclear what'll be announced, it's possible they'll have something to announce for next-gen platforms as we get more details on them.

At the beginning of last year, NetEase Games acquired a minor stake in Quantic Dream. Despite the acquisition, Quantic Dreams is still independently owned. The developer is mostly known for developing PlayStation exclusives such as Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. More recently, Quantic Dream released Detroit: Become Human in 2018. The sci-fi game continued the developer's direction of developing narrative driven games where every decision you make has an impact. The game reached 3 million units sold as of last October.

Back in August, DualShockers' Tomas Franzese had the chance to interview Cage and ask him about diverting from PlayStation, porting games to PC, and more. When asked about what made the developer bring their games to PC, Cage said "we were thinking about where we wanted to go with the company for quite some time, around two years before the release of Detroit. We wanted to explore new ideas for a long time, work on different platforms and reach players all around the world."

Detroit: Become Human is available on PlayStation 4. As more news gets announced about what Quantic Dream has up next, we'll be sure to let you know.
