Today Remedy Entertainment announced that Quantum Break for PC will be available on Steam and at Retail, and they followed up with a few clarifying points.

First of all, the game will work on operating systems from Windows 7 and up, as long as they’re 64-bit.

Head of PR Thomas Puha also clarified that this version has been worked on for a while, and that the developer has a lot more experience workng on DirectX 11 titles.

Since the original announcement talked of “a number of operating systems,” I also asked Puha if it could come with Mac and Linux compatibility on Steam, but apparently it’s just for PC.

Last, but not least, Puha explained the simple reason why the game is going to be released on Steam.
