Earlier this year, Teamkill Media officially revealed its upcoming project, Quantum Error, as a next-gen only PS5 exclusive game, but yesterday, they revealed that the game will hit Microsoft's Xbox Series X as well.

Quantum Error is a survival-horror first-person shooter created by the developers of Kings of Lorn: Fall of Ebris. Set in a moderately far future, the game follows a disasterous attack to a reaserch facility near to California shores, where Monad Quantum Reaseach plant has been swallowed by flames, and your mission as an armed firefighter is to land on the plant and rescue as many lives as you can.

While at first it seems like you are only going to deal with sky-high flames, the situations gets scarier and stranger as you start searching for people who trapped inside the facility. The plant has actually attacked by a horde of zombie-esque creatures, which makes it almost impossible to get out of the plant.

The reveal trailer for the Xbox Series X version of Qunatum Error doesn't reveal anything new about the game, just showcasing a creepy corridor that leads to Xbox's logo. The release date of the game for Xbox Series X and S is yet to be revealed, but it will probably hit Microsoft's next-gen consoles in 2021 as well as PS5. However, there is a possibility that the game might be a timed-exclusive title on PS5.

According to the developers, Qunatum Error is heavily inspired by the Dead Space series and is committed to deliver a similar experience in the first-person view. Here you can take a look at the game's gameplay premiered at Gamescom 2020:

Quantum Error has not been confirmed for PC yet, but the developers revealed that it's possible to launch the game on PC as well when it releases next year, in response to a comment on YouTube.
