New Rage 2 Gameplay Trailer Shows Off New Factions and Vehicle Combat

Rage 2 made another appearance today during QuakeCon's opening address.

August 10, 2018

During the opening keynote address of QuakeCon 2019, id Software and Avalanche Studios revealed new gameplay of the upcoming open-world shooter Rage 2.

Much like the trailer that we saw at E3, this gameplay trailer features voice-over that takes you through a mission from Rage 2. We get to see a lot of new weapons, abilities, and more vehicle combat than last time over the course of this nearly 7-minute long video.

Additionally, we are introduced to the Goon Squad, one of the factions that will be present in Rage 2. We don’t get to learn much about this faction as the trailer instead shows them mostly being blown to smithereens, but it offers one of our first pieces of insight into the different groups that will be within this world.

You can find the new gameplay trailer below. Rage 2 is scheduled to release in Spring of 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on Rage 2, be sure to check out our hands-on impressions from E3 this year.
