id Software and Avalanche Studios’ new open-world game Rage 2 was playable at Gamescom, and Bethesda allowed DualShockers to record the demo and show you some spiffy bespoke gameplay.

We start with a handy tutorial to get familiarized with the gameplay, and especially with the Nanotrite abilities that basically give us superpowers like Dash, Fus ro… ahem… Shatter, and Slam.

After that, we get to be thrown into the action, where we have to remove some unwanted guests from the Eden Space Center, where thanks to a handy swap of identity we’re tasked to bring back an EcoPod from orbit.

You can check the gameplay below. If you want to learn and see more about the game, you can also check out more gameplay from the show directly from Bethesda, and our hands-on preview from E3.

Rage 2 will release come for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 in Spring 2019. The game, including its Collector’s Edition, can already be pre-ordered on Amazon.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
