The release of upcoming FPS Rage from id Software and Bethesda has been delayed by a few weeks. No reasoning was given for this delay, but the reveal comes by way of a universal change in the release date for the game listed at various retailers. Although the original release date was in September, the new date is October 4th for US territories and October 7th for EU.

In light of Rage's huge seven year development cycle, this delay comes as a pretty small dilemma if you ask me. The most we can hope is that the developers use the extra time to make the game the best it can be. Rage will be available on HD consoles, PC and Mac. Stay tuned for official info on Rage's delay.
