Two things heavily associated with the 16-bit era are beat 'em ups and pre-rendered graphics. Games like Donkey Kong Country and Streets of Rage 2 are constantly brought up when discussing classics from that period in gaming. Raging Justice from MakinGames and publisher Team17 hopes to capitalize on that nostalgia, as it is a 2D beat 'em up with gorgeous pre-rendered graphics that make it seem like Raging Justice was ripped right out of that era.

Though the game was announced last month, we received a new trailer for the game today along with a more narrow release window. At the end of this weapon-focused trailer, we learn that Raging Justice will release on several platforms sometime during Q2 2018, which takes place between April 1 and June 30 of this year.

As I mentioned before, this new trailer showcases many of the different weapons players can use during their journey in Big Smoke City. Weapons highlighted in the trailer include baseball bats, shotguns, axes, hammers, tasers, swords, and even drivable tractors.

You can check out the new gameplay trailer below. Raging Justice is currently poised to release on PC, Mac, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch sometime during Q2 2018.
