Studio Gravity revealed this October 12 that LilyPichu and ProZD, two prolific voice actors, are joining the cast of Ragnarok Origin, the remaster and reimagining of classic 2002 MMO Ragnarok Online - Moreover, pre-registration for Ragnarok Origin has reached a new milestone, which means more rewards for players. We have the details below.

LilyPichu and ProZD voice iconic characters in Ragnarok Origin, new English cast details

Gravity announced popular voice actress, Twitch streamer and musician LilyPichu will be voicing several characters in the English dub of Ragnarok Origin. LilyPichu will voice Sprakki, the guide for beginner players who will explain everything we need to know about the world of Midgard.

The artist will also voice the Kafra that players will encounter in all major cities. In Ragnarok Online, the Kafra corporation NPCs administrates the item storage, warp system, and transportation between cities. Recently, LilyPichu also voiced Sayu in Genshin Impact.

Meanwhile, YouTuber and voice actor ProZD, who recently appeared in Genshin Impact, Yakuza Like A Dragon, and will be featured in God of War Ragnarok, will voice Seyren.

Seyren is a member of the Imperial Knights of Rune Midgarts. He will be one of the leader figures the player encounters, guiding us through mysterious events with his passionate personality and leadership skills. ProZD will also voice Hugin and Varmundt, central characters to the story of Ragnarok Origin.

New rewards to celebrate 400,000 pre-registered players

Over 400,000 players have signed up for Ragnarok Origin so far. To celebrate, players at launch will receive Luck Farming Candy, Combat Acceleration Candy, and Quality Reincarnation Candy as a reward. These respectively boost drop rates, EXP, and allows you to reset attributes. More rewards will be coming as we break through more pre-registration milestones.

Ragnarok Origin is set to fully launch on iOS and Android in North America this Fall, with a release date announcement soon. The game was first launched in South Korea and later on in Japan. Now it's finally our turn to plunge back in RO. I'm personally quite excited to see the IP is still so popular and can't wait to try out Origin myself.
