After a week of teases via images on their official Twitter, developer Videocult has announced that Rain World is available now on Nintendo Switch in North America.

While it is out today digitally for owners of the Nintendo Switch (for $19.99 USD) it will be coming to Europe on December 27, 2018. Videocult thanks both Adult Swim Games and Akupara Games for helping make this port possible, with Adult Swim streaming the Switch version of the game today in celebration.

Rain World comes to Nintendo Switch as version 1.7 which includes the Monk and Hunter, new playable characters that modify the difficulty of the game. A multiplayer arena has also been added that allows up to four players to compete against one another in fully customizable areas or view the various animals in the game interact with each other. New predators and prey have also been added as part of the update that will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC versions of Rain World later this month on December 21, 2018. This update was previously announced alongside a physical edition and collector's bundle that come via Limited Run Games. You can watch the launch trailer below.
