Rainbow Six Siege might be the biggest success story that not many people seem to talk about. After launching way back in December of 2015, the game has continued to grow into one of the best shooters on the market. Plus, it has finally reached over 50 million players.

Announced on the game's official Twitter account, Ubisoft thanked their players for helping them reach their goal and made it clear that they are here to stay. You can check out the tweet below.

When the game first launched, it was met with pretty average reviews around the industry. However, year after year, Ubisoft has continued to expand and add to the game to flesh it out. Looking back at the vanilla release and to now, it is almost like night and day.

It just goes to show that just because a game isn't doing so hot at launch, it is not the end of the world. Just take a look at No Man's Sky. Many people despised the game at launch due to it being marketed in a shady way. However, plenty of players have grown to love the game after Hello Games continually put out expansions and updates.
