Rainbow Six Siege Limited Time Golden Gun Event Is Now Live
Rainbow Six Siege receives a new "arcade" mode called Golden Gun, allowing players to perform one-shot kills with a golden D-50.
Ubisoft has revealed Rainbow Six Siege limited-time Golden Gun event, allowing players to get into the swing of the things with Operation Void Edge’s new operators and reworked Oregon map.
Golden Gun, the new Arcade mode in Rainbow Six Siege, officially went live and will last until March 23. Set only in the reworked Oregon map, you are able to choose every available operator. However, keep in mind that the only gun you can carry is a golden pistol called the Golden Gun. While you can kill every opponent with only one bullet, the tough part is reloading it after every shot.

Most of the shield-holding operators, such as Montagne and Blitz, are not available in Golden Gun. However, from the available Operators, you will be able to use their special abilities. There is no preparation phase in the new mode, and the Biohazard Container position is automatically located at the beginning of the match.
According to Ubisoft, Golden Gun is a limited-time event, but some of the features in the mode could become permanent if the feedback is good enough. It’s worth noting that you can unlock the skin of the Golden Gun for the D-50 side weapon with 12500 Renown or 360 R6 Credits.
If you haven’t unlocked Iana and Oryx yet, Golden Gun is a great opportunity to give them a shot and try out their special abilities. Also, the new mode is a decent way of earning more Renown since the matches finish much quicker while giving you the same amount of Renown you get in Quick Match mode.
As previously mentioned, Rainbow Six Siege‘s newest content update Operation Void Edge has launched across all available platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC). You can check out our guide for some basic info and our thoughts on the two new operators, as well as the reworked Oregon map.
