Something wicked is coming to Ubisoft's popular strategic first-person shooter beginning today. The Rainbow Six Siege Halloween themed event called Doktor's Curse brings some creepy versions of your favorite Operators and firearms that will inspire fear in all of your opponents.

The Rainbow Six Siege Doktor's Curse event stars the healing Operator Doc who has apparently gone mad. Making the Theme Park map his home, Doc has performed some questionable experiments to some of your favorite Operators, creating haunting versions of Smoke, Kapkan, Frost, Lesion, and Ela.

These spooky Operators play a part in the new Doktor's Curse game mode. These monsters make up the Defenders' side equipped with their typical trap gadget. Additionally, each Defender will have a special secondary ability known as Nightstride which increases their speed and turns them invisible.

The Attackers' side is made up of a squad of Exterminators equipped with a special version of Sledge's hammer. They will also have access to either Jackal's Eyenox Modell III, Lion's EE-ONE-D. or Pulse's Cardiac Sensor. Both monsters and Exterminators will not have guns or melee.

The Doktor's Curse game mode essentially plays like hide and seek. If the Defenders can survive a round or eliminate the Attackers, the monsters win. However, if the Attackers can eliminate all of the monsters before the round ends, the Exterminators win.

The Rainbow Six Siege Halloween themed event also includes the Doktor's Curse Collection bringing tons of horrific items and skins to the popular shooter. Packs for the event can be earned by completing Event challenges or can be purchased for 300 R6 credits. If you main Sledge, the Sledge Bounty Bundle can be bought with preferred currency. You can check out the full list of new skins and items here.

The Rainbow Six Siege Doktor's Curse event has begun and will end on November 6, 2019. You can purchase the game now for Xbox One, PS4, or PC and start slaying some monsters.
