It seems like Rainbow Six Siege is going to receive one of the most popular gameplay mechanics of Valorant in the next season!

If you have already played Valorant, then you do know that creating temporary walls is one of the most significant gameplay features in Riot Games' popular FPS. Viper, Neon, Phoenix, and Sage are a bunch of Valorant Agents that have the ability to block the opponent's eyesight by creating either holographic or solid temporary walls.

On the other hand, it seems that the developers at Ubisoft Montreal have decided to add a very similar mechanic to Rainbow Six Siege with the next operator.

The Next Attacker in Rainbow Six Siege Might Allow Players to Create Holographic Wall to Block Eyesight

According to a recent leak from Zer0Bytes0 on Twitter, we got to watch some footage from a device that creates a holographic wall that blocks eyesight. It's yet to be seen whether passing through this wall would hurt opponents or not, but we do know that the wall gets disabled after a certain amount of time. You can check out the footage down below:

The leaker claims that this device belongs to the next operator in Rainbow Six Siege, who is apparently an Attacker. That being said, this device could also be a new secondary gadget for some of the Attackers that don't have Smoke Grenades.

Currently, the only gadget that can block eyesight for Attackers is Smoke Grenade. So, adding a new secondary gadget like the holographic wall could probably be a significant buff for the Attacking side in Rainbow Six Siege, especially after the launch of Azami which adds a wide variety of new plans for Defenders.

Rainbow Six Siege is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
