With the release of Operation: Ember Rise, Rainbow Six Siege will have a total of 50 Operators (if you exclude recruit). And yet, we haven't seen a single guest character from Ubisoft's vast library of amazing titles like Tonic Trouble, Buck Bumble, and of course, Shaun White Snowboarding. Jokes aside, there are great characters, like Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher or any of the Far Cry protagonists, that would make pretty interesting additions.

I asked Rainbow Six Siege Presentation Director Alex Karpazis if characters from various Ubisoft properties could potentially make it into the game. This is what he had to say:

"We do pride ourselves in creating this super diverse cast with really human stories and backgrounds. So, I think we've been pretty successful in teaming up with other games like Ghost Recon. Or even branching out where we have [Rainbow Six] Quarantine and Operators that we'll be able to tell more of their story there. I think we're doing a lot of work in sharing our Operators and not bringing them into our game right now. So, there is still a lot to explore there."

So, in essence, it doesn't really seem like we will see any Ubisoft guest Operators in Rainbow Six Siege anytime soon. However, it does seem like they are open to doing crossovers, like Karpazis mentioned with Ghost Recon: Wildlands, so there is some hope there.

But there was one question I absolutely needed to know about one guest character in particular. I'm not talking about Sam Fisher. Not Assassin Creed's Ezio Auditore. I am talking about the Ubisoft CEO himself, Yves Guillemot and what would his Operator ability be?

As I began the question "If Yves was an Operator...," understandably, Karpazis had to make sure he heard correctly. "I'm sorry, Yves," he questioned and then laughed. After asking what Yves Guillemot's Operator ability would be, Karpazis gave the best answer I think anyone could have come up with.

"I can only image," begins Karpazis, "he presses a button and then a thousand Rabbids just descend on the map."

Of course, this is entirely a joke and we all had a good laugh about it. But I would not expect Yves Guillemot to appear in Rainbow Six Siege in the game. I'm not going to lie though, I would main Yves if he was in Rainbow Six Siege and spawned a bunch of Rabbids onto a map.
