With only a day left until Microsoft is set to kickstart X019 in London with a new edition of Inside Xbox, rumors are starting to circulate about just what will be revealed during the showcase. According to one new report, it seems that developer Rare will have a rather major announcement to make on the day about what it has coming in the future.

As reported by VGC, Rare is said to reveal its follow-up title to Sea of Thieves tomorrow at X019. The game is said to be a third-person adventure game from the studio and it will also be a new IP. If you were hoping for the return of Banjo-Kazooie, Conker, or any other famous Rare IP from the past, it seems as though you shouldn't get your hopes up too much.

While Rare is said to be formally revealing the game tomorrow though, it doesn't seem as though we should expect to play it any time soon. This new Rare project is reportedly in development for Microsoft's next-gen Xbox Scarlett platform and is still quite a ways out. Still, it seems as though Microsoft would like to get the word out about the game sooner rather than later to start to give fans an idea of what games will be coming to Scarlett down the road.

Inside Xbox is set to take place tomorrow at X019 starting at 3pm EST/12pm PST. We'll be covering all of the day's events here on DualShockers, so stay tuned throughout the day to see just what Microsoft has set to unveil.
