Rare’s Sea of Thieves has really awesome water visuals and fluffy clouds, but even the most seasoned pirate won’t call you a landlubber if you occasionally need some solid ground to rest your boots and bury your treasures.

Today the developer released another video showing off how the game’s islands are build, and their lovely visuals, including rocks, caves, trees and all of those parts that make the islands memorable.

The video is presented by Level Art Lead Darren Nourishand Environment Artist Joachim Coppens, as they showcase work-in progress footage and the actual process of building the islands.

You can check it out below. Sea of Thieves will launch some time next year for Xbox One and PC.
