During Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference held today in Los Angeles, the house of Xbox and Rare revealed new gameplay of the upcoming shared world adventure game Sea of Thieves.

On top of the gameplay which looks great, we also get a new release window in early 2018 for Xbox One, Windows 10 and Xbox One X.

The video showcased a whopping 10 minutes of gameplay, including treasure hunting, underwater exploration, caves, combat and more. There is even the ability to ride a cannonball like Baron Munchausen. Can't say that we're not getting the full pirate tool suite and event a few extras.

You can check the new gameplay out below, and if you want to see more, you can also watch Phil Spencer himself play the technical alpha, and a recent video about live campaigns and events.
