Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Release Time Countdown and Preload Unlock Time

It’s about to be a very, very good time to be a Ratchet and Clank fan.

After it was revealed during the PS5 showcase in July of last year, we’re now just a matter of hours away from the launch of Rift Apart.

The game is the first Ratchet release in over five since the first title was reimagined and rereleased as Ratchet and Clank back in April 2016.

However, although we know the game’s release date is close, what is the Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart release time on PS5? Let’s take a look.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Release Date and Time

Thankfully, fans don’t have too much longer to wait as Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart releases this Friday, June 11.

UPDATE: Sony now has a countdown on their store page, confirming that Ratchet and Clank will release at midnight local time.

However, based on almost every past Sony release, it’s safe to assume that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will have a release time of 00:01 in your local timezone.

If you have preloaded the game, you will find a countdown that confirms this information, with the timer counting down to midnight on the 11th.

If you’re after a physical copy, of course you’re at the mercy of your mail man or the time your local store opens.

DualShockers’ Review

Here at DualShockers, we really loved the game, scoring it a 9/10 in our official Rift Apart review.

Our reviewer Kyle Knight said:

All of these elements make for a phenomenal gaming experience that really makes you feel like you’re playing on the next generation of console. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart seamlessly integrates the new with the old, keeping the classic elements that fans know and love, whilst introducing new gameplay features to keep the series fresh.
