Ubisoft's Rayman, from the series of the same name, will be making his fighting game debut in Brawlhalla according to an official posting to the game's various social media accounts. You can see the official announcement below:

While there were surely many players hoping that Rayman's fighting game debut would be in Nintendo's upcoming Switch exclusive, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it appears that's not happening as of right now. Nevertheless, it'll be cool to finally see the character in action amongst a cast of other unique characters. Rayman will be added into the game later this year on November 6.

If you're unfamiliar with the title, it's a free-to-play game that's very similar in concept to Super Smash Bros. albeit mechanically it's quite different. So before you pass judgment on the character's exclusion from Smash, why not give the game a shot considering it's free-to-play? We reported that Ubisoft had acquired Blue Mammoth Games way back in March so the collaboration does make sense.

Brawlhalla is available on a multitude of platforms including PC, PS4, and Mac. It'll be coming to Xbox One and Switch later this year as well.
