Ubisoft announced that Rayman Legends Definitive Edition would be coming to Nintendo Switch back in January, but not much has been heard about the game since then. Recently, the European Nintendo Switch eShop was updated to show that the game would be releasing on September 12, and a demo of the title was also added. This was done seemingly by mistake, so the demo was promptly taken down by Ubisoft.

That being said, the company did confirm today that Rayman Legends Definitive Edition is indeed releasing on Nintendo Switch September 12. While the demo is no long present on the eShop, Ubisoft did say that it would be coming "later this Summer," and released a new trailer for the title.

This version of Rayman Legends takes advantage of some of the Switch's unique features, as up to four players can play together over a wireless local connection and the game features the touchscreen support when played undocked. Players can use the touchscreen controls to do things such as move platforms, cut ropes, and take out enemies. Rayman Legends Definitive Edition also features an updated version of Kung Foot.

You can check out the new trailer below. If you don't own a Nintendo Switch, you can currently pick up Rayman Legends on PC, PS Vita, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.
