Razer Considering PS4 and Wii U Support; Promises Long Term Support for FGC

With EVO 2015 becoming history, Razer CEO Ming-Liang Tan expressed on Twitter the prominent peripheral manufacturer’s commitment to support the Fighting Game Community in the long term:

Interestingly, the tweet above was in response to a friendly exchange among competitors, due to a Razer controller failing during the Ultra Street Fighter IV final, a sticky situation solved with Mad Catz providing a replacement on the fly:

But that’s not all. So far Razer has been primarily oriented towards peripherals for PC and Xbox platforms. A fan asked whether they would support PS4 and Wii U, considering that future FGC tournaments will be done prominently on these platforms, and Ming-Liang Tan mentioned that the manufacturer is “definitely considering” them.

It’d definitely be interesting to see Razer entering the competition on more platforms. We’ll have to wait and see what will come out of this.
