Razer Partners with Bungie for Destiny 2 PC Peripherals; Coming in September
Razer and Bungie are teaming up for a suite of PC peripherals to coincide with Destiny 2's release, including a mouse, keyboard, and more.
All eyes are on Bungie today as the highly-anticipated Destiny 2 will be revealed later, though those looking to grab the game on PC – a first for the series – will have plenty to look forward to with some new Destiny-themed peripherals from Razer.
Razer has announced a new series of PC peripherals produced in collaboration with Bungie to celebrate the release of Destiny 2 this fall, with the new PC items specifically including a new mouse, keyboard, mouse mat, and headset. All of the new peripherals will be available worldwide starting in September 2017, around the time that Destiny 2 will launch.
The line of Destiny 2 themed items from Razer will include the Razer DeathAdder Elite mouse, the Ornata Chroma keyboard, the Man O’War Tournament Edition headset, and the Goliathus Speed mouse mat, which all aim to “bring the ultimate Destiny 2 experience to players” alongside the game’s release this fall.
Bungie’s Creative Director, Brand & Marketing Jim McQuillan explained in a statement that “we’re very excited to partner with Razer to create a line of premium gear that we know Destiny 2 players and action shooter fans will love,” adding that “the team has come up with some cool ways to pair Destiny‘s art and designs with Razer’s high-performance hardware, providing players with new ways to customize their Destiny 2 experience.”
Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan also added in a statement on the collaboration that “this is one of the most anticipated games this year, with a community that’s been yearning for a PC release.” Tan also added that “Destiny’s innovation and depth is remarkable. We’re honored to be working with some of the world’s best developers to support the launch of the game on PC.”
Destiny 2 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 8th, 2017.
