At E3 2017 England-based developer Rebellion debuted new gameplay for their upcoming supernatural adventure game Strange Brigade.

The developer has had their hands on a slew of popular titles including the Sniper Elite series, Aliens vs Predator, the Zombie Army series, and the virtual reality game Battlezone.

Rebellion revealed Strange Brigade at the beginning of the month with a global reveal trailer. Now they're showing off actual gameplay with commentary from the game's lead artist Andy Pattinson and head of creative Tim Jones.

Players will be put in the boots of one of four playable characters with unique weapons and abilities. You'll fight for the British Empire in the 1930's and hunt for treasure throughout a multitude of vistas. The particular demo shows off a lot mummies, zombies, and a giant minotaur, as well as some puzzle sections.

I couldn't help but get a retro monster movie vibe from the game. Strange Brigade seems like a mixture of elements from Left 4 Dead and Uncharted. Which isn't a bad thing in my book. The game will be more fun with friends but if none are available you'll be able to play alongside AI controlled bots.

Strange Brigade is coming soon to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the new gameplay commentary down below.
