As you may know, Sniper Elite 4 from Rebellion Developments launched last month on February 14th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC (you can read our review here). Today, Rebellion outlined the future of game.

According to Rebellion, it still has "a lot" of content in the works, including both free and paid additions. The content will begin towards the end of March with the release of two big add-ons. The first is Deathstorm Part 1: Inception, the opening chapter and mission in the game's new three-part mini-campaign that comes with a completely new storyline for 1-2 players. More info and a first look trailer will be coming "soon."

The second is the Night Fighter Expansion Pack, a content drop that features three new weapons,  night-time camouflage rifle skins for eight weapons, and two new characters.

In addition to the above, paid content, the game will also be receiving new free content around this time as well, including: a new multiplayer mode called Elimination, in which two teams try to whittle down their opponent’s numbers. In the mode, if you’re killed you’re forced to sit on the sidelines. However, this isn't permanent, because if your team kills an opponent player, they get to tag back in one of their sidelined teammates.

A brand new multiplayer map called Night Woods will also be introduced around this time.

Beyond March, the following roadmap of content is provided:

LATE APRIL 2017 (TBC)

·         Deathstorm Part 2: Infiltration campaign mission

·         Urban Assault Expansion Pack featuring new male and female character, 8 camo rifle skins and 3 new weapons

·         FREE  new multiplayer map: “Urban”

·         FREE new multiplayer mode

·         FREE new Survival mission (playable solo or in 2-4 player co-op)

MAY/JUNE 2017 (TBC)

The roadmap, at the moment, doesn't continue past June. All paid content will be included in the Season Pass (which is included in the Digital Deluxe Editions) or available to buy separately at an unannounced price.
